Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Linkday ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (https://linkday.app), our CRM marketplace applications (currently supporting Monday.com), and the Linkday Chrome Extension.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of our Services.

1. The Information We Collect

A. Account & CRM Data

When you install the Linkday app from a supported CRM marketplace (e.g., Monday.com) and authorize via the OAuth process, we receive your account ID, user ID, name, and email address.

  • We use the account ID and user ID to uniquely identify you.
  • We use your name to support team leaderboards and board mappings within your organization.
  • We use your email to communicate regarding support, account status, or billing.
  • We store this data encrypted in our secure database hosted by Supabase.

B. Chrome Extension & LinkedIn Data

The Linkday Chrome Extension operates on LinkedIn profile pages, company pages, and messaging pages to facilitate seamless CRM syncing.

  • Prospect Data: When you explicitly click "Add Lead", "Add Contact", or "Sync to CRM", we process the prospect's public LinkedIn profile data (Name, LinkedIn URL, Job Title, etc.) and map it directly to your connected CRM.
  • Conversations: If you use the "Sync to CRM" feature inside a LinkedIn direct message, we process that specific conversation thread to add it as a timeline activity in your CRM.
  • Enrichment Data: If you utilize our email and mobile enrichment features, we process the prospect's profile data through our third-party enrichment APIs to find contact details, which are then synced directly to your CRM.
  • Observational Fetching: Our extension utilizes a document_start content script to observe window.fetch and XMLHttpRequest requests strictly on LinkedIn domains. This is purely observational to extract public profile slugs and conversation IDs already visible in your browser. This prevents redundant API calls and improves performance. We do not modify requests, capture credentials, or transmit this observational data to our servers; it is used solely locally to match profiles against your CRM.

C. Log, Activity & Analytics Data

We collect anonymized activity data to evaluate and improve our app.

  • Product Analytics (PostHog): We track feature usage events (e.g., clicks on "Sync to CRM", mapping errors) to understand user journeys. We never track keystrokes or clicks outside of the Linkday UI.
  • Bug Tracking (Sentry): We monitor technical errors and crashes to promptly resolve bugs.

D. Cookies & Local Storage

We use chrome.storage.local within the extension to securely cache your CRM OAuth session token and your application preferences (e.g., enrichment toggles). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers by the storage layer.

2. Chrome Web Store Disclosures & Single Purpose

Linkday's single purpose is to help sales and recruiting teams add LinkedIn profiles and LinkedIn direct messages to their CRM boards (such as Monday.com) as contacts, leads, or deals, without leaving the LinkedIn page.

To comply with the Google Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, we explicitly certify that:

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal data or your prospects' data to third parties.
  • Strict Purpose Use: We do not use or transfer your data for purposes unrelated to the item's single core purpose stated above.
  • No Credit/Lending Use: We do not use or transfer your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • Data Access Context: We only request permissions necessary to execute our single purpose. The tabs permission is used strictly to read the active tab's URL to render the correct side panel view and to auto-close OAuth popups. The sidePanel permission is required to render our native UI.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To Provide Services: Executing CRM syncs, mapping LinkedIn fields to your Monday.com boards, and enriching contact profiles based on your active triggers.
  • To Support Services: Investigating, analyzing, and resolving technical or usability issues tracked via Sentry and PostHog.
  • To Communicate: Sending critical updates regarding new features, license limits, or resolving support inquiries.

4. Keeping Your Data Secure

We rely on modern cloud infrastructure to encrypt and secure your stored account data. The extension communicates with our backend API at dash.linkday.app, which uses Supabase for secure persistence.

  • We do not sell or rent your Personal Information to anyone.
  • We do not store your CRM database records on our servers; Linkday acts as a bridge between LinkedIn, our enrichment providers, and your CRM. Once synced, prospect data lives within your CRM.

5. Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party domains and services to operate Linkday:

Provider Purpose
Supabase Secure database hosting and user authentication data storage.
PostHog Product analytics (EU region endpoint) to anonymously identify usage trends and feature adoption.
Sentry.io Bug tracking to understand and resolve technical application errors.
Enrichment APIs Third-party data providers used strictly at your request to locate email/mobile details.
monday.com CRM API endpoints used to authenticate via OAuth and synchronize your prospect data.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data only as long as you are an active user of the Linkday app.

  • Automatic Deletion: When you delete your account or uninstall our app from your CRM platform, we purge your identifying data from our systems.
  • Manual Deletion Request: You can request the deletion of your account and the removal of any associated data from our servers at any time. We will fulfill this request within 7 working days.

7. Third-Party Platforms and Integrations

The Linkday Services are designed to interact with third-party platforms (including, but not limited to, LinkedIn and CRM providers) based strictly on actions initiated by you. Linkday is an independent service and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by these third-party platforms. By utilizing our extension, you explicitly authorize us to access and process data from these platforms on your behalf and at your direction. You acknowledge that your access to and use of third-party platforms are governed solely by their respective terms and privacy policies. Linkday assumes no liability for the data practices of any third-party service.
